I was hunting a refuge primitive weapon season today and heard 09 shots before 0900 and not another till sunset maybe 12 shots all day. (one of the sunset shots was mine). I guess the deer moved early and sat all day based on the shots i heard. I had a small group of does walk down the wrong funnel and my flintlock fired quick and true.

Deer always plan their activities in relation to the moon. Most
of them have moon wheels, so they don't mess up. I actually saw
2 8 pointers buying moon wheels at Wal-Mart today.
