I have found around 30 scrapes within the last week, and even witnessed a hoss of a buck make 4 scrapes and rub two trees at 65 yards wednesday morning. Now, i have hunted and lived in east tn for my whole life and have never seen this much sign this early in the year. Do yall think the rut may be kicking in early in my parts due to the cooler weather this year compared to years prior? And if so would it be worth a shot to put some doe estrus pee out around my stand.

A good acorn crop and probably an improving buck age structure. It's normal for rubs and scrapes to be showing up daily at this time of year IF YOU HAVE GOOD HERD DYNAMICS, especially a good buck age structure.

Yep. I've seen more bucks than does this year on my place and this by far is the best rubbing I've seen on this property in my 6 years of hunting it. It is also by far the best acorn crop I've seen on it.

Could it be that the EHD outbreak helped with herd dyanmics? This year is the best "deer sign" year I've seen. The EHD really hurt me for a couple years but it appears to be panning out great now.

I am also seeing more sign than usual in my neck of the woods too. It's by far is the earliest I have ever seen numerous scrapes and rubs, I have a feeling the deer are starting to feel the pressure at our farm so I am laying off them this week. I will be hunting out at the Rutherford County farm this weekend, excited is an understatement cause I haven't been out there since mid-aug. Generally this farm is ripped up with sign this time of year, so hopefully I can catch a big boy comin out to check his/her scrapes.
I am thinking about breaking out the horns for the first time this year, or would u fellas think it's too early still yet?

I watched two spar for several minutes the other evening. If I rattled I would just tickle em a little to make em think two bucks are just sparring. Good luck this weekend!

What would yall think about putting out some doe pee. Would it be to early still yet, or would it be worth a shot to hang around a scrape?

I don't know bout the doe pee but its never a bad idea to hunt a scrape especially near a food source.
