Woke up this moning to a voice mail from the morgan co game warden.And we spoke,and I met up with him this afternoon and he rode with me to the property because he said,he didn't want anyone to see his big green truck parked there to scare the baiter away.Anyway,we walked through the woods,and I showed the blind and corn to him and then he asked me,if i'd stop and scan the area with him to check for trail cams,he said he doesn't like his pic taken..LOL
He then asked me if I would not hunt the property for a week or so. So I wouldn't scare the person off,in case I ran into him.he said if he doesn't call me in a week for me to call him back.He said that he'll catch the person..We'll see,I sure hope he does..I dislike a trespasser so much,what does it take to obtain permisson to hunt somewhere.I wouldn't think of hunting somewhere I didn't have permission to be.I'd be parinoid that I was gonna get busted..LOL Anyway,I'll keep you guys updated and if he catches him or not.

A ground blind and a bait pile? It seems like if one were going to knowingly trepass and were concerned with getting caught, that person wouldn't be so obvious about it.
I had a trespasser last year. I thought I had gained access to pristine, unhunted property. I was disappointed when I saw trail markers and pruned limbs. I put up no trespassing signs and didn't have any problems through the first part of the season. When I returned from a week long trip in late December, I was dismayed to find that my trespasser had returned with a chainsaw and cut a 10 yard wide highway 100 yards long. When I followed this highway to the fence line, his ladder stand was stashed in the bushes. You'd think he would be less obvious considering he lives next door and had this same ladder stand in his next to the fence line that I walk and, which he saw me walk, for months. After he cut that "highway" through the woods, I never saw another deer on the property for the rest of the season.
I thought about going back and throwing his ladder stand in the pond.
