IMO the best moon phase is the one associated with the best weather! I'll take a good cold front with a falling barometer and temps, over any moon phase every time!

There will be little or no deer movement this weekend. Squirrel hunting will be best between 1-3 p.m. Quail and robins make a good gumbo but the season is not open yet.

anytime you can hunt is better than trying to judge by the moon, especially since i dont hunt at night i just go when i can the moon helps me very little its the sun i hate to do with out.

Robin gumbo is the best. 2/3 robin breasts and 1/3 crawfish or shrimp.
Not that I would know.

Well i hate to disagree bowriter........,but i've had 5 deer around me this morning(although they spooked) and there are about a dozen squirrels bugging me to death right now as i type. Id say morning and evening movement but midday will be slow!
