gotta always use the wind to your advantage. besides that i have really increased my scent free measures the last few years and have noticed a big difference in my efforts. from soap and deodorant to scent free detergent and carbon clothing. as far as scent free towels i prefer to air dry haha. also i really like those scent wafers from hunters specialties. good luck

Wash your clothes often in non scent detergent. Shower with some scent eliminating soap such as Hunters specialties body wash, before you go. wear some clothes that you washed with your hunting clothes and change into your actual clothes when you get to your spot. Keep your clothes in a scent free tub until you change into them. And last and most important, mind the wind, because no matter what you do you will emit some odor.
Ditto.... Plus I do use cover scent... Buck/coon/fox urine...

Hunt smart, watch the thermals, watch the wind, and never hunt a stand unless the wind is perfect. If it switches climb down and find a place where the deer won't be downwind of you.
Fighting with staying scent free is futile, and time would be better spent worrying about the above rather then battling the unbeatable.

Thanks for all the replies. As for the washing clothes in scent free detergent have you ever thought that the washer has had a life of smell good through it? So nothing that really works besides the old school. I typically always watch my wind and hunt accordingly but was hoping for some well kept secret.

Hmm, wind. Yep, that's what I do. I saved at least $30 this past year on sprays and cover scents since I gave them up and just move around more and play the wind. If you don't have a choice and must hunt in a certain spot, spray down head to toe with any scent killing product.

Not a well kept secret, but the scent reducing clothing and body washes really do work. They reduce your scent. Use them religiously on everything--your entire body and hair, all layers of clothes, and especially boots. Then don't wear your hunting clothes or boots anywhere but in the woods. Keep them in airtight containers outside of the woods.

Ditto on washing everything in scent killer. I also spray the bottom of my boots with fox urine or acorn extract. Spray down all your gear and if it's an option for you I also keep all my gear outside on a covered porch.

I believe more in washing everything daily and taking a shower before each hunt .....I believe less in cover scents....
if a deer can smell the cover scent, they can smell you as well....JMO

I heavily wash my boots with scent-reducing products and then spray the bottom and sides with scent-reducer every chance I get. Plus, they never touch anything but the ground in the woods. The worst thing you can do is wear your boots in a truck. They will pick up oils and gasoline from the floor mats.
