Used the shorter bipod on elk trip to Wyoming. It the hill side was not too steep they were great. When too much slant on hillsides, I wanted a taller model. Very good on level ground or looking up hillside.

I made my own. It's pretty easy actually. Cost me about I don't know, maybe $8 bucks. It's super sturdy, and very durable. It's a bipod too! Can post pictures if you'd like to see (thats after I go to the blind and take the picture, lol). Can probably describe well enough for you to get the idea though, if you'd like?

The Single Stick ain't but the Tripod model is to me anyways.

My kids and I love our single, short Primos Sticks for turkey and deer hunting from the ground. We are going to get the tall bipods for standing or the treestand. I don't care what they weigh. The extra work to carry an extra few ounces is worth the trouble when it comes to quick adjustments in the field with little to no movement.

I have the Primos trigger stick and i love it. Carry it around like a walking stick until i need a rest. Very nice product.
