I would certainly talk to my parents about it and get their OK on the next move. Hunting is suppose to be fun and Family is Family. Everyone just needs to be in the same page with the owner/one in charge making the rules.

A good friend of mine had a farm that is a deer haven. Excellent habitat & a great place to hunt. He worked hard to keep it that way. Come deer season, a good friend of his from work asked if he could hunt "for meat for his family". My buddy said yes, fixed him up with one of his best stand locations, & specifically told him that he could kill all the does he wanted but that he could only shoot a buck with a rack outside the ears. His friend agreed.

Opening morning, my buddy heard a shot. In a few mins, his friend pulled up with a little 6 pointer on the rack of his 4 wheeler. My friend confronted him & said "We agreed that you wouldn't shoot any small bucks." His friend said, "He may be small but he will still eat." My friend said, "He'll be the last deer off of my farm you'll eat. Get your stuff and get off of my property!" It totally ruined their friendship & they don't speak to this day.

I asked my buddy about it & he said that he didn't think it was much of a loss as the guy wasn't really a friend or he wouldn't have lied to his face. Then he said, "If you let people s**t on you once and don't do anything about it, they'll just keep on s******g on you!". If I controlled the land, I'd have a serious talk with Cuz & tell him there was now a "one strike" rule. If he didn't like it, good luck at the new place he'd be hunting.
