I been thinkin a lot lately about how I'm goin to approach this upcoming weekend as far as my hunting strategy goes. I am only able to hunt Fri-Sun because im gone off to school. I know some of you fellas on here are consistently in the woods all throughout the season, but to those of you who are married to the weekend like me.....How do you game plan for your upcoming hunts as far as what stand, this food source that food plot, etc...Ya'll know what i mean.
I had a promising opening weekend but ended up unsucessful, This week I'm just gonna monitor the Smart Scouter, grind it out in class, and stay on tndeer 24/7. Hopefully friday mornin it will be BBD.

Try to hunt all day if you can...you never know when another hunter will bump a deer your direction.

Along UTGrad's line of thought, use other hunters. If you know there are other hunters in your area already, look for a stand that is near a secondary trail. Biggest buck I ever saw in the woods was bumped by hunting pressure into a place he wasn't supposed to be....which is why he's the biggest buck I ever saw in the woods and not the biggest buck I ever shot! urrggg

I have learned over the years to spend the friday morning scouting instead of just getting in a stand where they were last week.
