I'm about to head out towards the farm in a few, and its a slight drizzle here right now. Missed the evening hunt yesterday cause i went and watched our Vols suck it up against UAB, but back to my point. I have had moderate sucess in the rain, but I was just curious, how many of u fellas are gonna take a crack at it in the rains? Do u think it will increase your chances? If so why?

i don't like to bowhunt in the rain due to blood trail issues. i will not bowhunt in a heavy rain.

Agreed. I love to hunt in rain but bow hunting in it makes for poor or near impossible tracking. Slight dirzzel is fine, pouring no and the deer wont move in a heavy rain. I touged it out yesterday morning from 530am to 930am thinking any minute it would stop. When it did....I was there....and deer started moving.

I have never seen a deer while it was raining or light rain. I guess me and rain don't go together.

Deer do feed in the rain. With umbrella above my head and bow being carried, I walked up one a 7 point buck feeding in the field. This was on my walk out Sunday morning.

He didn't seem to mind at all that it was raining!
