Used to hunt alone for yeares and years. Now my 15 year old daughter has the bug and I always have a hunting buddy. She is pretty good to! 1 buck age 12, 2 bucks age 13, 3 bucks age 14. Worse part her two biggest were bigger thamn any of mine last year.

A lot of times, there is someone else on the property. Usually one of the inlaws and one of his buddies. That's fine with me. I like it because they are younger and can help drag the deer out when I kill one. \:D

But I also like hunting alone. I'm a loner by nature, so it doesn't bother me. I like it because I can hunt from a different stand, or do more stalking/ground hunting without messing up their hunt.

I always hunt alone on my place. It is only 140 acres, so I actually like the fact I can go where I want and not have to worry about bumping into anyone (except the guys who lease the property behind me and accidentally "stray" over and hunt around my food plots ).

It got so bad in the part of Lincoln County I hunt that the guys from the lease land next to us tried to run me and my father off I own farm land.

By myself most of the time with a bow! My 16 year old son goes with me most of the time when hunting with a gun or muzzle loader. He doesn't care much for getting eat up by ticks and mosquitoes!

Along most of the time. I have a few hunting buddies, and I'm really trying hard to get my dad to travel down from NJ to hunt with me this November. We haven't hunted together in probably 13 years!

I do not like the thought of knowing that other people are hunting my areas if I do not know them. I guess that's my competative nature.

I get a kick out of it either way. When I was a kid there was a bunch of us that would go together and camp. As often happens, new jobs, families, moves, etc. and pretty soon there were only two or three of us. Now my brother comes down 4 or 5 days a year, and that's a real treat, but I end up solo the other 30 or so days I hunt. It sure is fun either way.
