I am up and down a lot at night. I seldom sleep over an hour at a straetch. The last two nights I have not seen a deer in the yard at night and I have only seen a couple in the early morning.
I have been seeing 3-8 a night and 5-7 in the mornings for the last week or so.
Make of it what you will.

I have been seeing alot of deer in the mornings around 9-11am. They might be up moving at night, but I think they will move for that mid morning snack before it gets real hot.

I like the moon up early in the pm and staying late in the morn. Anytime the moon is visible during daylight is a plus IMO! Weather however does indeed have a much bigger role in daytime deer movement I do believe!

I believe the moon has an affect on how you hunt. But I will bet that they will move sometime during the day. Good luck.

The cold front moving in will more effect on the deer than the moon. Expect a great opener!

The heat, humidity and full moon willl make it a tough opener. Next week is looking better.
