I'm fairly new to bowhunting, this being my second season, and only in my 20s but I was wondering is it to early to rattle blind or will y'all be using this tactic Saturday?

Personally, early in bow season I don't carry any call with me—I want to be as quite as possible. I won't carry a call or horns until mid-October. Find a travel corridor and/or an acorn flat and ambush them as they travel to and from their food and bedding areas.

The best time to rattle (spar), light click and clack, is 20 minutes after daylight on opening day. %X better than during the rut.
