I put a scope on my 12 ga slug barrel and when that thing kicks it kicks and it rattles the screws loose that hold the scope mounting rings to the cantilever.

Is there anything i can do while the scope is mounted, without having to unmount and remount it that can make it so the screws do not come loose?

Loctite, Super Glue or melted candle wax.

Loctite is your best bet! I have used clear nail polish in a pinch!

I knew about the loctite, but how do you get it on the screw without taking it out and thus removing the scope? I never used it so I don't know

Buy a heavier shotgun. Should not be too heavy but enough to absorb some of that thump.
