I ALWAYS KEEP BOTH IN THE PACK ALL SEASON BUT WILL ONLY USE THEM IF IVE SEEN ONE AND NOT GOT A SHOT ILL TRY ANYTHING TO KILL A DEER

They stay. Im more likely to leave it out when i need it. Im not walkking that far and I can carry those ounces without much effort.
