Buy some cheap, fluffy slippers at Wal-mart and spray those down with your cover scent and slip them on over your boots.

I have some 3 year old cabela's boots that have rubber lowers and they still smell like rubber.
I've tried everything mentioned here except setting them in the sun, which I will try next.
But after 3 years, I'm not sure anythings going to do it. They've been thru a lot, and it seems like it's about as strong now as it was when I got them. I have sprayed them with unscented right gaurd, and it helps a lot, but to a deer the right guard may be just as loud

I leve my rubber boots outside all year long. It does tend to take several months to get the rubber smell out.

Burn them. That will get rid of the rubber smell!
I really don't know. I don't wear them because they are so uncomfortable.

Don't know. I quit wearing rubber boots because I hate how moist they get inside, which isn't comfortable when you're out camping.
