Just been pondering this. I dont get busted for moving...that I know of. But I move a significant amount. Sitting to standing, turning, leaning forward to put my back in a different position etc. I just wondered what importance you put on movement in stand (especially with good cover). This time of year through first of Nov. I typically hear deer before I can see them anyways.
So how much do you move?

On absolutely freezing cold mornings, I've been known to climb down from my stand and do jumping jacks in a creek bed to get the blood flowing.

I move some. Gotta stand and stretch every few hours. Then there's turning your heads to noises. And arm movement from dippin and spittin in a bottle.

I am the same way I move all the time while i'm on stand. I can't say that my movement has ever cost me a deer. But I do a lot of movement on stand just not very often. I will lean back and forth to look around the tree, and I will re-position myself ever so often, but other than that all I ever do is move my head to look to the left and right.

I have a friend who can't sit still. Then can't be in the same spot for more than an hour.
