I move some. Gotta stand and stretch every few hours. Then there's turning your heads to noises.

I move to much. Just can't ever seem to stay comfortable in a stand.

Bowguy84, deer bust you more often than you realize. What you don't account for is how many deer have seen you that you never heard. They may not know that you are a human or what the deal is, but I'm a firm believer that they can see movement from distance and avoid it.
When I first started hunting I moved alot. And saw few. Now in a less populated environment I see so many more and stay almost completely still except when I smoke. Even then I will put my hand next to my mouth and only move 1-inches ata time

One more thing... If I do move... It is a very very slow process. The guys that got me better at hunting were being over dramatic when they showed me how slow to move on stand, not realizing they were being funny, I took it very seriously. Kinda funny but i really think it does work! It takes me an average of 1 1/2 minutes to pick up my bottle to take a drink and put it down.

If it takes another 1 and a half to put your bottle down then another 2 or 3 to get your bow up, another min to get it drawn, the deer will prolly be gone. Might not have spooked one but have you ever had one walk off before getting your weapon ready? lol just aggravating

Hahaha no when I know the deer is there I can see when it puts it's head down or turns the other direction... Then I get my weapon ready. My comment was referring to when I'm just sitting there with no deer in sight.
