Jeff did you check at Edgemore outdoors? I believe he had them there.

I found out Sportsman's Choice up in Halls has them, but I really, really don't like that guy very much.... but I probably like him enough to keep me from goin to Sevierville. I'm keeping my mouth shut. Anybody else want to start.

While not the most personable guy in the world, he seems to know his stuff. And, he has managed to keep his shop open for a very long time. He's helped me out in a tight spot or 2. It is nice to have a local shop where you can go get something in a hurry if needed. Wish we had a few more around here...

Serious question:
I understand there are some check-in changes this year regarding how long we have to get a deer checked in?
If I find my deer around 10P Saturday night, is it still legal to check that deer in Sunday morning?
From what I understand, it has to be the same day. The thinking seems to be with the internet, we should be able to get it done....
This is also my understanding.
Quote from the H&T Guide "All animals harvested must be accompanied by one animal with a validated temporary kill tag and must be checked in the same day at a big game checking station or the TWRA internet site where one new temporary kill tag will be issued." (page 20)

I agree with you on that one. I hated to see Eagle Wing go down...

I too like a good friendly and knowledgable shop! That being said I sure dont miss Eagles wings! This new lil shop on Edgemoore Rd is a super friendly place with decent prices and a good selection of quality merchandise. As for how knowledgable he is on Archery equipment I dont know yet but so far so good!

Glad to keep hearing good things about Edgemore Outdoors. Have not been there myself yet, but it sure is nice to have another option in Knoxville area.
