I don't get excited until mid october at the earliest. I usually stay out of the woods until my chances are better at killing mature bucks, or at least for the way I hunt the chances are better.

I stay excited!!!! I have several stands up on the farm and the lease. I have shot my X-Bow and it is shooting about 2" high at 30 yards. I have pictures of several good deer some bucks and some does. I am off on opening day for the first time in many years and my freezer is about empty.

Im soooo ready..Did a few last min checks of my stands today..Im ready! Just gonna keept shooting my bow until next weekend....I couldn't be no more excited..
