.357 Herret, .357 Maximum, 7mm TCU.
.357 Herret in 10" contender barrel is probably the most efficient pistol cartridge in existance. Crazy velocities out of a handgun with almost no powder burned.

7x30 waters. My daughter killed her first two deer with a T/C Contender in .223 rem. At ages 8 and 10.

45 win mag and 45/70. I picked up my Contender at a pawn sohp years ago with the 45 win mag barrel. Ended up paying more for the 45/70 barrel than I did for the pistol.
