I am wanting to get one of those stands at some point (probably next year). Seems everyone on this site will tell you to get a Summit \:D . But I did ALOT of research because I am VERY particular about these things. The Pro Mag is the one that I want as well (out of all the brands of stands made). From everything I have heard and everyone that has those stands, they say that the chili pad is the "difference maker" in that stand. They said it's what makes the stand. I'm not getting that stand without the chili pad, from everything I've heard.

I use it sometimes. It's just a long, thin foam pad that attaches around the tree and hangs down to the net seat. Since the treewalker doesn't come with a padded seat or backrest, it just makes it more comfortable than leaning against the tree.

I have used the Treewalker for the past 5 years. I absolutely love the stand.

That being said, I have never had the chill pad. I'm sort of afraid to get the pad. If I do, I might end up sleeping all the time instead of hunting. \:\)

This does happen... I spend several hours a day in mine sleeping when I'm in the woods....

They seem to be very well made stands, actually made here in East TN I believe. Based on all the problems and mechanical failures I've seen posted here over the years with Summit stands, I think these would definitely be a better quality made stand.

Yes sir... Made in knoxville TN. I met the owner when I bought mine. He is a super guy! A buddy and I were heading out on a trip last year and he tried my stand out at the house and loved it. We actually met the owner at 10 o'clock at night at his house and he sold him a stand. Not many people would do that... Top notch stand and top notch company!
