Doe #2 down in a Kentucky double

I talked my buddy who got back from a CO elk hunt yesterday into going hunting this morning. I'm glad he did. This is my 4th bow kill and first bow double. I hit her in the back of the rib cage, and you can see the exit hole in the front of the shoulder. What's surprising is that she ran probably 150 yards and didn't bleed much. I don't know about these montecs... I think the next one is getting raged. So far 2 hunts, 2 kills. I could get used to this bow hunting thing!

Thanks, yeah that's mine on the left. We found a nock from another arrow in the shoulder of the other doe when we processed it. Pretty wild.

We couldn't find any other evidence of it being previously hit, and he said it walked fine. It must have been a while ago.
