Buddy of mine was talking about this place he got drawn this season. I've never heard of it. Where's it at? What's the terrain like? And of course, how's the huntin?

Used to be my fav wma, killed lots of deer there. Mostly flat and very easy to get turned around in if you are not really familiar with it. Good deer numbers, sometimes real hard to pattern. Don't feel like you have to get a long way off the road, large numbers are killed lee than 100 yds off the roads. The way it is layed out you are pretty close to a road anywhere. Stick with it and you will get an opportunity. Good luck, but the most important thing to remember is to take your permonone and be sure to use it. Seed ticks are legendary.

When he start looking for a place to hunt there. Tell him to look for Prairie Plains. There are some good huntin in that area. Of coarse it depends on what unit he got drawn on.
