I have a video from last year and seen it before that a few time , very few, deer eating hickory nuts. TCChamps dad and I watched five or six does come threw eating them like acorns. The noise they where making cracking them was like sticks breaking.I seen it and dont see how they have teeth left....

I have watched a doe at 25 yards crunch on them for 20 minutes or more. The yearlings with her also munched a few.
Spit was on the same hunt just down the ridge from me and can attest to my reply....
