We will be there this coming weekend , my son got drew for the youth shot gun hunt , I can't wait and he is more excited about this hunt than he has ever been about any other hunt. Thank the good lord that he has finally got the want to hunt!!! He is driving me nuts asking about all of deer season but I love it and wouldn't want it any other way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

be sure to watch out for seed ticks..the place is loaded with them. You guys should see lots of deer

we are hoping to camp over on armstrong ferry my brothers hunt that area and i hunt over near the check station. its a long drive for me but it is worth the ac and showers!! we used to camp at the check station

I went down on Monday and did some scouting for my nephew and I didnt get any seed ticks on me but I am ate up with friggin chiggers. My advice is to try and take as many showers as possible because it seems that they are unusually bad this year. Good luck, it'll probably be a real good hunt for the kids.

Yeah, the chiggers are bad. My arms got covered pretty good.
