Man, Middle TN's turkey population has exploded in recent years. I turkey hunted up there 3 or 4 times last Spring, and about got run over by turkeys. I even saw them out in the suburbs, casually crossing the streets. 10-15 years ago, I don't think that was even in our vocabulary.

I was gonna ask about this before the season. So it's legal to shoot turkeys with a bow during any archery day? Hens, jakes, and gobblers are all legal?

They are legal with the bow during archery season only if the county is open to the fall turkey gun hunts (see pg 36 of 2010 Hunting Guide).
