Gas per trip, leases, mortgages, license, camo, tree stands, boots, clothing, ammo, arrows, weapons, trail cams, salt lick, food plots, tractor fuel, hunting vehicle, insurance, mud tires, chain saw, vaccum sealer, freezer space, and time. Whew, I figure that doe i got last year cost me about $400 a pound and i cut it up myself. Haha sure is fun though.

I justify that the cost is offset...nm there is no justification. I was going to try and feed yall a line but its already deep enough of this forum as is.

Once you have all your equipment it really does even out I'd say. I've spent 15 bucks on corn this year and that's it. My usual harvest is 6-8 deer per year. 15 for corn, 4 dollar arrows (always plan on losing 2), and 1.25 per round for the gun...

Not much for me.
5-6 deer per year, 5-6 bullets, little bit of gas, freezer electricty, new gear sometimes.

Everything I need and use.......WAY TOO MUCH.

I'm not gonna pretend I don't spend a small fortune on hunting equipment. Between treestands, clothing, fuel, cameras, rifles/scopes, GPS units, etc. It all adds up but its only money well spent IMO.
