its a price you pay for the friendships with your buddies peace and quiet,hunts.etc priceless in my book i have all the gear i think i need and i have a lifetime liscense

I try to think of it as paying for a recreational opportunity. I pay for the enjoyment of being at the camp and walking in the woods. The venison is like the free continental breakfast at the hotel.

meat bags $3
few other thing but i would say less than $4 a deer well worth it

Sure you could do it cheap, but where is the fun in that. The new toys that come out every year are just as much fun as the hunting. My garage has more hunting crap than the average sporting good store, but that is what I like. Plus its safer if you have to have a team of sherpas to get all your stuff out to your hunting site, somebody always knows where you are if you get hurt.
