Well after shooting a bunch of doves in IN on Saturday and Sunday plus a hog roast Sunday night, I made it back to KY for an evening hunt yesterday. Wasn't the best hunt a little hot. But I saw one spike.
My housemate hunted all weekend and saw 20plus deer on public ground and one shooter. How did all the other TN transplants fair up here this past weekend?
Felt great to get back in the woods.

I got a real nice very heavy tall 8 in full velvet yesterday morning. Only deer I saw. But it is really too hot to hunt. I worked frantically to keep the meat and rack from spoiling.
I don't think I will hunt this early again.
