Well, better late than never, I shot about 100 arrows yesterday with my recurve, wow what a challenge, I am at least hitting the target, my left to right is very good but the verticle aim is kinda tricky with no sights, my recurve has 60 lb limbs......not the best weight for a begginer instinctive shooter, I will shoot twice a day until season and I am hopeful that I will feel comfortable by then or I will just keep practicing until I do

Im thinkin of mounting one of those sport cameras on my recurve bow so I can show everyone my misses or the unlikely possible lucky shot at a P&Y buck, the scary part is that I just landed three places to hunt that are as good as any in TN for trophy class deer, Im pretty sure I will get some video to laugh at and or cry over when I fling an arrow over the back of a monster buck

Good for you. You seem to need a new challenge considering the two whoppers you have. Not trying to change the subject but how did your bow buck from last season measure up?

It grossed 196 3/8 & netted 181, which makes it #4 Non-typical by bow....15 3/8" in deductions is crazy huh? time to start another topic about gross vs net again LOL!!!

In the Buckmasters BTR book it ranks #2 all time Non-typical with a composite score of 201" and official score of 182 7/8

Thanks for asking, I actually had to pull out the magazine article to get the stats
