Bought a safety vest a few years back. I like everything about it except for the strap connecting me to the tree is not long enough. Messes me up sometimes when bowhunting. Anybody have an easy solution for making it longer?

Use a short piece of safety line (rope) with a loop on each end.

I use an old piece of seat belt webbing, very easy to get at any junkyard. Just like turkinator said, I have a loop on both ends of mine too.
Every once in a while, I use the same strap to drag a deer out of the woods.

My strap hooks to a Rams horn system on a safety line around the tree. I made a longer safety line.
