strangest thing happened yesterday morning

was walking to my stand and jumped some deer up about 100yds from my stand. i got right up to my stand and heard something running in the field. i shined my light and seen 2 sets of eyes running at me. i had to jump out of the way or i would have gotten run over by 2 fawns. i guess they were coming to my flashlight or something. it was the craziest thing. i could have reached out and grabbed them if i wanted too

Kids do the darnest things. I had a fawn eat out of my hand and follow me to my boat.

They say if you turn the tables and go after the predator instead of running like the prey, the predator gets confused and watches the prey run right by him.

They say if you turn the tables and go after the predator instead of running like the prey, the predator gets confused and watches the prey run right by him.

I had a buddy get attacked by a mountain lion in Wyoming. He spread out his jacket and made himself look big... mountain lion ran. It's just all about role reversal. I however just like to trust my .45.
I bet those fawns that ran you down had been bedded down near you and their momma wasn't around. They'll do some crazy things when their mom puts them down somewhere. We were sighting in our hunting rifles one time;when we went to look at the target we jumped two fawns 15 yards away from the target in the tall grass.
