The last few weeks I havn't had any pics of any bucks on my trail cam that is hung over my t-rock. But at the same time I've seen them all around the area bachelor groups browsing and bedding within as little as 20 yds form my camera. It's like they have no desire to use the t-rock anymore. Maybe BSK can answer this.

What kind of camera are you using? Does it have flash or IR? Do you ever get pics with the deer looking at the camera? Might have burned them out. Had this same thing happen. Move your cameras up in the tree and point them down. They might have started moving off the salt already this time of the year too.

Once bucks have finished mineralizing their antlers, demand for salt declines. In addition, cooler weather reduces desire for salt.

This has been my personal experience, they wear my salt licks out in the spring and summer, by fall, they have almost nothing to do with them.

At this time of year they start to move into their fall feeding area such as all types of Mass producing areas

Be patient. You can't eat what is on a trail cam. They will be moving and chasing doe before long.

Bucks come and go on my trail cams and usually only show up a few times per month on salt alone. I suspect if i used corn to attract them i would/might see more.
