The best thing ever, can sit in the swap naked if you want and have never spoked a deer. The thermocell web site has an earth sent refill availble also, which i have used don't think it makes any difference.

I believe it may have a "chimney effect" takes away much of the scent with the rising heat.
I wonder, has anyone killed a mature buck while using the ThermaCell?
i had a 22 in. wide 8 pt. at 18 yds and he never knew i was in the woods. the lil button that was with him(that i didn't know was there) caught me drawing my bow and spooked, taking the 8 pt. with him. thermacell smoking away right next to me.

true....if the deer get downwind of the thermacell, they are downwind of you as well........
