HA must be an a$$hole. I've heard several people complain about him. That's why I did not stop in ther a while back when I was in the area.

You wont regret it, a real bow is the way to go and a PSE is a fine one at that!

Like in racing, HorsePower costs money. In bowhunting FPS costs money. I guess I have a mid pack bow.

Remember that the IBO speeds that are advertised are with 70# limbs and I think @ 30" inches of draw with as light an arrow as the bow can handle. 5grains per pound of draw weight.

Not trying to burst your bubble, but too many guys get sucked in to buying a bow based on the advertised speed, only to find out that once adjusted to the shooters preferance and using a hunting arrow the bow shoot much slower. There aren't to many guys that shoot a 30" draw and hunt with a 350grn arrow. Also remember that Speed sells bow and accuracy kills deer.

HA is one of those guys that knows EVERYTHING and anybody that walks in his shop get's treated like a begginer. He fixes bows the way he wants them..not the way I want them.

By the way HA read every word and knew every one that posted just to warn you guys.
Oh yea try a Darton lightening 362fps

LMAO, warn them about what?? Is HA coming to get them?? \:\/
BTW Brian never owned Black oak to my knowledge he just ran it, and did a pretty good job IMO. He was a standup guy and I too did business with him. Its a shame to see him get mixed up with HA but I guess times are hard, especially when you've already had one store go out of business.
I wish them luck!

I just bought it and its set on 71 lbs at 30.5 draw lenght..... We put the gun on it and it was 334 fps.... The guy setting it up told me that he wish, he had my draw lenght.... I guess being 6'3" and having long arms help... Brian spent 2 hours getting me set up today....

Congrats and hope it works out for you! Shooting that kind of speed will demand your bow and arrows be tuned good, hope you do well with it!
