I've got a couple Big Game universal shooting rails that I use with my basic ladder stands for gun season,since I won't be useing them till gun season,I got the idea to put them with my 2 hangon stands for added security and also to make a blind.I went to walmart and bought a package of the leafy material $15 and some zip ties,I wrapped it around the shooting rail and zip tied it to the rail..It works really well and camos it alot better than I thought..I can't wait for season to get here.I have 1 more hang on to do this way.There was enough material to do 2 stands.I have 3 of these shooting rails and they work really well for a solid rest for those stands that don't have a shooting rail..But here are some before and after pics..

Looks good cecil! I cant tell, but it looks like a white oak. If so, you might have a chance that it holds its leaves and they turn brown for additional cover later in the year. Thats what I look for right after deer season.....trees that still have their leaves. And I position my lock-ons to that cover. If that tree does that, thats awesome.....and since it holds them white oak acorns, even better! $\:\)$ Good luck

Its just a strictly bow hunting set up..Thats why I wanted to get a blind around it to help conceal my movement of drawing back.Once ML season gets here,i'll pull this stand and put it on top of the hill so I can cover the whole field..From the top to the farthest corner is 105yds..LOL Just far enough for the old smokepole...
