What caliber would you choose if you HAD to pick ONE for deer from here on out,as you hunt for them.

My Model 70 Winchester .270, because that's all I know and it
has served me well for over 45 years.
Any legal caliber rifle is good though, if you know how to use it.

I hunt thick woods where shots can be point blank,,anything will work there,,I also hunt where I can see farther than I can hit,,
I would probably take a 24 inch 6.5-06 with a 3.5-10,,shooting 130 NAB
