I always have a gerber saw and pruner combo cause i never know when going in some places whether i will have to prune a limb or two with my climber....i sometimes hunt at random a place i have before hand scouted but not identified an exact tree. I have certain things i place in my fanny and i swear that i dont think i could carry one more!

If I can't get it in my pockets, I don't need it:
Pocket knife, cell phone, chapstick, dip, toilet paper, range finder, camera. That's about it.

I need to get on this train. Im trying to cut out a lot my problem is I carry a backpack to aid in getting a computer or books to the stand. I know it isnt the penical of hunting but Id rather do it there than sit at the house to do school work and not hunt.

Cant stand the bulky feeling of the pockets.....use a fanny pack. i get the ones with about 10 to 12 pockets and i can place what i need in them and then just hang the fanny pack with in easy reach. Has worked well for me and i think everyone finds their level of comfort someway. i have one i use specifically for MZ....same things overall but that way i dont have to do any switching around.

Most of the big deer get killed by jokers with nothing but a Q-beam, truck keys, and a 12 pack. Maybe I do carry too much stuff!

I've got a Summit Titan and I got those side bags for it. I put all my essestials in there and I've completely elminated a bag. Man its so much better now also when its really cold I will tie my heavy clothes right to the stand and walk it all in that way
