seems like only yesterday you could go up in Ky and just knock on doors and get permission to hunt huge tracts of big woods for free, only been 10 years to go from free to 10$ an acre,,

I am out,,I am happy I got to go when I did though,,LOL

the video was taken on the last trip I made to remove my stands in `05,,I guess he made it

Big bucks, mean big money and big problems.... Thats some of the stuff that hunters forget when they want to make their state, a trophy state.... I like what TWRA is doing for TN.... It fits the needs of most hunters.....

no doubt on the problems,,,if it would undo all the trouble they caused you could come and take the three mounts I have and take them to the dump.

well really,,I dont guess they caused the problems,,it was just what was going on when it went down,,

I hunted up there from 97 to 05,,killed three and missed 2 and let 4 more get by me with no shot,,I had a MONSTER 10 point at 20 yards at full draw and I could not see my pins through the peep,,

I got sick and actually puked on the ground when he walked off,,I had a lifetime of good hunts in that time,,and I have to fight some God awful memories at the end that if dwelt will still male me as mad as it did then,,
I will only say it ended in restraining orders and court costs,,,you just cant show some people where you hunt,,especially family steps and inlaws involved,,,

screw it all and I will watch my kids kill 6 points anytime over all that BS..

Dang Mr. Big that sucks! I understand though. As a land owner I wish I could do more with bringing people to my property, but I am scared that something might develope. Sad but that's kinda what it has come to.

I hear ya Eric, I too hunt and hunted a great farm in Western KY in about the same time frame. We also killed some really nice deer and the memories we made are priceless! Money and greed is the reason e let that particular farm go ourselves. We were paying top dollar and the farmer was sneaking friends in when we werent there! Oh well all good things end sometime! Nice bucks btw!
