Never tried it because of the movement involved and worries of
being busted. Good deer BW, maybe I should try it, but I will
have to quit hunting the thick stuff. No. The thick stuff is exactly where you want to be. Just be able to see the open areas.
ditto, rattling is my favorite thing about deer hunting, its exciting when it works and you better be ready to get a shot off because they can leave as fast as they come in

I think there is different ways to rattle ,until pre rut
I would just tickle the horns together
Later on in pre rut I would get a bit more aggressive with the horns
