and lovin' it. This has been one brutally hot summer and I could absolutely not resist doing some pre season scouting during the last two days with temps in the mid 80s. If the weather would just take a continual dip right on into Fall, I would have no complaints.

Personally, I'm not seeing a tremendous amount of deer sign, but optimistic nonetheless.

yep its been a rough summer. mowed up at my place this week and everything is just dead and dried up. my brother finally seen some deer the last day we were there. a decent 8 and a small buck. i was beginning to wonder if they were still there.

Too dry for sign, at least around here. The ground is as hard as concrete. I did just see some sign in my back yard, a doe and a fawn.

The heat doesn't bother me much... I have had good luck in TN hunting in weather around 90.... I guess growing up in hot weather has paid off.... Creek bottoms and find water.... My hunting buddies think I'm crazy and I think they are wimps...
