You'd think by reading this forum that the there is only one treestand company. If you don't like bulky then don't carry a summit. They are light weight but to me the models I have used including the viper, they are bulky as heck. I also don't care for that cable system. Every time I have used one I've had trouble getting it on the tree. Bare in mind though I'm a little guy so that could be the reason for my problem.
My favorite stand is in your screen name. Lone Wolf sit n climb is my favorite to date. It does not offer a true shooting rail for rifle hunting, but you can fold the bar up to rest your elbows on when shooting. I now have two one for me and one for the lady.
