I can recommend Lacrosse Alpha Burley Sport and do http://www.pursuithunting.com/2010/02/lacrosse-alpha-burly-sport-hunting.html . Heard good things about Muck too but never tried 'em.

If you wear an even size then that size will normally work... If you wear a half size then norally will have to move up.... to the next size to leave room for thick socks and air to circulate... Muck boots run 10/10.5, 11/11.5, 12/12.5 and ect... Most boot rubber boot companies don't make half sizes.... Muck labels there size 11... 11/11.5 and so on... I hope this helps...

FWIW - I wear a size 12 in everyday shoes and my Muck boots are size 12 as well.

From Muck's website: How are Muck Boots sized?

Select Muck Boot sizes based on your standard "athletic" shoe size. Muck Boots are made to standard US sizes for men and women. Boots and shoes are available in "whole sizes" only. True half sizes - use the next size up. The best fit is achieved by wearing a medium-weight athletic sock.

I have also hunted in the Max and the Elites all season and they do get a little warm at times... This year I'm going to test out a pair of Muck Fieldblazers for early season hunting (rated for warmer weather)...

definitely...muck woody max or elite.
I bought a pair of muck elite from Gator N Buck and I am glad I did. Much more comfortable and a better quality boot than the alpha burley in my opinion.
Gator N Buck's price was the best I found anywhere!

I went last year to buy a pair of lacross rubber boots and came home with two pair of muck boots . Field blazers were good to 30 degres and woody max for colder . I love them both and especially like the way you can fold them down and just slip them on like slippers then fold back over with pants legs inside . No way I could wear woody max early bow season , too warm .

Now,now.... If Tebow could... He would wear Mucks on the football field.... All I can say if your not wearing Mucks this winter, then theres probably a good chance your toes are cold...

I gave up on warm feet and just get whatever is comfortable enough and not too expensive. I have come to the conclusion that until someone comes out with TEN thousand gram thinsulate boot, my feet will get cold.

I like my Irish Setter Field Tracker. For the really cold temps, I use my boot blanket.

I will have to get some Muck boots someday and see what all the hype is about. \:D
