I'm gonna buy one of these climbers but can't decide which one??? I'd like your recommendations and reasons for recommending one over the other. I'm 6'2" and weigh 220. Thanks.

I have used the Goliath for the last 3 season and it has been a great stand.... I'm 6'3" 240 and the Goliath made a big differents compared to the Viper I had before.... This season I'm going to the Titan and 180 Max SS to get the extra two inches on the platform... The trade off on the stands when you go bigger is more weight... I'm willing to trade a few pounds for having more room and spending several hours in a tree.... I have even added the footrest to get approx 5 more inches to stretch out a little.... The one thing I do know, is you can't go wrong buying a SUMMIT........

Y'all are bigger than me , but I'm 6'1"-210 and my goliath is perfect for me. I'd say that either one would be a good choice for you.

6'1" 260lbs, never sat in a titan but my goliath fits me just fine.

Thanks guys! Seems like the general consensus is to go with the lighter weight vs the longer platform??

I'm 6'1' 270lbs. I owned a Goliath for about 3 years and loved it! Then I bought a Titan and now I'm in love again! honestly both are excellent stands but for me I love the extra room on the top and the longer platform with the Titan, it really makes a difference especially bow hunting!

Do you notice the extra 4-5 pounds when you're carrying it in ?? If so, is the extra weight worth the additional room??

I look at it this way.... I'm only carrying the stand for a very short time frame, considering how long I'm sitting in it during the hunt....
