in the 70s when soomeone harvested a deer they strapped it to the hood of a vehicle and rode around til the thing turned blue

1979 first deer  Dang, wadja shoot him with, a howitzer? Not much left for eatin' on.

Those were trophies to me!!!

I would almost bet money we all had more fun with it back then,, You wouldn't win money from me! The hunting is MUCH better and more fun now. But then I've backed way off on how serious I take the management and the hunting.

back then,I was excited on stand all the time,,I knew when I saw a buck it was a shooter
now when I see a deer by the time if I decide if I want to fool with killing it or not,I dont really have time to get excited,,I can honestly say I have not gotten that buck fever rush in a long time,,back in those days I kept it.
