One thousand acres of my own land along the north side of the Hatchie Bottoms......after about ten years of strict select harvest.....i can see no better place to enjoy the hunt.

Spend about a month in a nice log cabin on the property with my wife. I'd leave every morning to hunt while she slept in. She'd read or watch her shows while I hunted........Every night, we'd have a nice meal and a fire in the fireplace and maybe watch a movie, before starting the whole thing over again the next day....

If I ever win the lottery, this will become a reality.....but, wait, I don't play the lottery....lol.

oh well.......

I can't think of another place that I would rather hunt than Haywood County ...especially deep in the Hatchie Bottoms...

Going to illinois this yr for gun season and I am looking forward to it, but will always select a place where I can carry a centerfire. Milk river or alberta would be my choices. I had a trip booked for alberta a few yrs ago but cancelled when the operation sold.

Of those choices...Milk River with my 7 mag. Then go trout after I finish hunting.

Otherwise, I'll stick with TN.

For some reason, I thought this was bowhunting only. Since rifle is included, my #1 choice would be Manitoba-hands down and I would have it sighted in to shoot dead on at 250 yds.

Bowriter, it is my understanding that you have hunted Canada several times (correct me if I'm mistaken) so can you explain why you wouldn't hunt Saskatchewan? I'm curious because we booked a hunt with Rob Nye's Canadian Trophy Quest. Appears to be a nice outfit and respectable guys.

Rob is a super nice guy and he'll treat you right. What you'll see in terms of bucks over 3.5, I have no idea.
