I'm not a tree expert, but I found a bunch of Persimmons within a specific area that i was scouting today. the trees in one area are relatively close to one another. I thought i heard somewhere that if the trees are close to one another they won't produce fruit is that true?

Cool. when do they start producing fruit? Is it later in the year?

They should already have fruit hanging on them if they are going to produce this year.

Not true..Diffrent kinds of persimons ripen at different times of the year but if they're going to have fruit this year they will all have them now. Generally they are still green this time of year some might be starting to turn orange...

I didn't see any fruit on them, but because i thought they would have fruit later, i didn't really study too much. there were some small orange ones around the bases on some of them, so they may have fruit. I know one year i found one in Nov. and it was full of them. they were reddish purple and easy to spot. they were growing around cedars and it was tough to see up in there.

Well I found about 5 in one area 50 feet by 50 feet and the other two or three were singles within 100 yds of those.
