Milk River South Texas Illinois the golden triangle Alberta- saskatchewan
I know there are other real good places but if you had a choice of one of these hunts with preferred hunting equipment
what would you choose,Just a scenario And why would you take it

It's a coin toss between Alberta, Milk River, and Illinois...but I think I'd take Alberta too.

Alberta or Saskatchewan! We just booked a hunt to Saskatchewan for the first week of November...pretty pumped to say the least. We considered Pike County but it has waaaay to much pressure from so many outfitters.

I've been to the triangle and good lord willing im going back. With that said I would truly love to have a chance at one of the super brutes (body as well as rack) that call Canada home!

I would rule out Canada because I believe they would require a guide, and the only guys I know who have gone there sat in a plywood box for days on end.
I have been to Illinois, and would go back but it frankly wasn't that special although I did kill a 140+ buck.
I have been to South Texas, not to hunt, but spent quite a bit of time there, and if it was a high fence I would not be interested, but some of the open private land had some good bucks...
Montana would be my choice at this point. Been there before, but not to deer hunt. Milk River has big bucks, an intense rut and beautiful scenery. Plus, after I killed my buck I could go flyfishing for some of those mac-daddy trout.
