ANY and EVERY commercial attractant will work OCCASSIONALLY. The question is, if put to a scientific test, how often do those attractants draw deer to a hunter and how often do they drive deer away from a hunter? Most of the time, the "driving away" reaction isn't seen by hunters. They only see the few positive reactions and then believe the product "works." Sure, anything will work now and then but what is the most common reaction?

Exactly BSK. Its like the people who smoke and tout about all the deer they see and kill with a cigarette in their mouth. Next question is, how many deer would they have saw or killed if they werent smoking??? I would love to know and see all the deer that dave discovered me first over the years and left undetected?? And I dont even smoke! lol

Boots on the ground scouting is the best thing you can do. I will admit that when I first got into hunting, I fell into the trap of trying all the attractants. It didn't take long to realize most were gimmicks. If you want to consistently kill big bucks, forget the gimmicks and put some time on the ground scouting.
