Pretty interesting stuff. Here the slide I like best though... 
We as TN hunters should take note of the average, gross scores of the TX 2.5 and 3.5 y.o. bucks.

And the shear range of scores per age class!! This was with a limited sample set for each age class, thus this range of scores would likely be greater if all deer were considered.

Someone is probably going to come on and tell me I CAN'T do this, but I've already done it. 
Here's the percentage change from age class to age class of the above graph:
Gross B&C Scores
41.6
82.4 = Yearlings to 2 1/2's: + 98.1% (Nearly double in one year!)
108.7 = 2 1/2's to 3 1/2's: + 31.9%
123.2 = 3 1/2's to 4 1/2's: + 13.3%
130.6 = 4 1/2's to 5 1/2's: + 06.0%
131.2 = 5 1/2's to 6 1/2's: + 00.5%
Or how about this:
Gross B&C Scores
82.4
123.2 = 2 1/2's to 4 1/2's: + 49.5%
130.6 = 2 1/2's to 5 1/2's: + 58.5%
131.2 = 2 1/2's to 6 1/2's: + 59.2%
Just my opinion but if anyone has a goal of trying to kill a buck with high-scoring antlers, they should TOTALLY exclude 2 1/2's from harvest. And if you want to step it up a notch, giving yourself a greater opportunity at the highest scoring antlers, take no deer younger than 4 1/2.
Or just get two birds with one stone when you focus on harvesting mature bucks: 
1) The challenge of the mature buck being a great "trophy" regardless of his antlers;
2) Your taking that particular buck when he grew his largest or near largest antlers.

Great Info. Thanks for sharing.
Twins, or more fawns can have different fathers I did not know.
I had a sneaky feeling leaving them young basket heads alone would was good though.
Look for them pot bellys...
